Content Requirements:
Read 3 or more of the articles provided for this activity. The articles are located under the files tab in the folder labeled literacy articles. You may also research your own articles and read those in addition to the three you chose from the provided list.
Choose a developmental age period (Infancy, Preschool, Middle Childhood, or Adolescence)
Choose a book that is developmentally appropriate for this age range. This can be a fiction or non-fiction book.
Develop an extension activity to encourage literacy development based on the book. Be sure that you utilize knowledge and research from the journal articles in developing your activity. Be creative and use your own strengths and interests.
Complete the Literacy Activity page. Be sure to complete each area under the rubric thoroughly.
